World of warcraft is a very popular massively multiplayer online role video games released on November 23, 2004. Everyday thousands of players work out strategies to make  a fortune out of these games. This game is played in the land of Azeroth, where thousands of players form communities and fight  monsters by undertaking various quests.  The player learns more skills as he or she takes up the role a particular character such as blacksmith, tailor or a miner thus increasing their talent.

 

The games news popularity of this game has entered new levels causing addiction among the players, the symptoms of which are lack of motivation, sleep and appetite leading to sudden loss or gain in weight, aggression, drop outs at schools and jobs and as well as much more.  This addiction is as bad as any other addiction and causes withdraw a symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and nervousness which can cause ruin to life.  Constant play time may cause distress in relationships such as fight with partners or family members, or perhaps losing an old friend, some of which can be very difficult to mend.  As the game becomes a priority, communication and interaction decreases, leading to disturbances in family life.  Normal routine activities and other priority jobs take a beating as lot of time is wasted due to this addiction.
